Pat was up before 6 a.m. to do laundry at the marina laundromat. When she arrived she found that Sallyann had gotten up even earlier and was nearly finished with hers by that time! With so many boats arriving at the marinas together, washers and dryer availability is at a premium, so it is the early girl who gets her done!
Later in the morning, we and the Newtons used the marina's courtesy car to go out for lunch at the "Rib Cage", a place for local ribs and chicken, and to go to the Pickwick Market for groceries. Upon our return to the marina, we got together to plan our tentative itinerary to Mobile, Alabama. An expected cold front then arrived with heavy wind and rain, so Sallyann and Andrew returned to "Freedom", and we relaxed on our boat with a movie and cable T.V. for the rest of the evening.
Pat has been in daily contact with her mother, brother, and the nursing staff at Ocean Medical Center, where her mother continues to get medical treatment.
